Jared Morris is a music educator based in the Flint Hills region of Kansas. As the head band director at Junction City High School, he leads the marching band, wind ensemble, and advanced jazz band. He also created the school’s first percussion ensemble class and remains active as a private instructor and performer. Jared is the co-author of The Percussionist’s Workbook, a method book for beginning and intermediate percussionists. Jared lives in Manhattan, Kansas with his wife, Alyssa, and their children, Kimball and Audrey.
